Day TWO : Defending champions crash out at the Castle

Sixteen more matches today as the seeds – and the Castle – came in to play.

The day started at the Maison du Squash with the first 12 – still best of three – matches, then tonight action moved to the Chateau des ducs de Bretagne for four matches – starting with an all-French matchup which saw women’s top seed Camille Serme beat Coline Aumard, a marathon battle between men’s top seed Simon Rosner and Borja Golan, and the demise of both defending champions as Emily Whitlock beat Nele Gilis and Mathieu Castagnet downed Declan James.
